… Paul teaches Timothy, by quoting from the Old Testament that our God knows all who are truly His and that they (we) must turn away from evil.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Katara Patton … AT THIS LINK …  tells of becoming a youth leader in her church and being introduced to a shy girl, who, when the ODB author called the young girl by her first name, the girl lit up and said, with a smile, …  “You remembered my name.”

Which is how we all should feel today, … knowing what is conveyed in the linked song and the Scriptures above; … that our God knows each of us by our name, … the name He gives each of His chosen children.  And if you, my fellow Christians, believe and know that Jesus is our Good Shepherd, … our Lord,… Who watches over each of us, … knowing each one by that name He has given us, … you’re likely smiling like that young girl who was called by name at church by a new friend.

No matter what we’re facing today, my friend; … He knows us; and He will show us the way to go if we but trust Him.   … So, … we’re okay!

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for watching over me and showing me the way to go - Your way -  … ALWAYS!

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to follow You, Lord, … knowing that You always watch over us as our Good Shepherd.   … AMEN
