My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Katara Patton … AT THIS LINK … tells of becoming a youth leader in her church and being introduced to a shy girl, who, when the ODB author called the young girl by her first name, the girl lit up and said, with a smile, … “You remembered my name.”
Which is how we all should feel today, … knowing what is conveyed in the linked song and the Scriptures above; … that our God knows each of us by our name, … the name He gives each of His chosen children. And if you, my fellow Christians, believe and know that Jesus is our Good Shepherd, … our Lord,… Who watches over each of us, … knowing each one by that name He has given us, … you’re likely smiling like that young girl who was called by name at church by a new friend.
No matter what we’re facing today, my friend; … He knows us; and He will show us the way to go if we but trust Him. … So, … we’re okay!
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for watching over me and showing me the way to go - Your way - … ALWAYS!
