… Jesus also teaches that the only way to be fruitful in life is to be connected to and surrendered to follow Christ.

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Leslie Koh … AT THIS LINK … tells of pouring onto the morning commuter train, which made the ODB author realize that life had become a boring routine with the need to break free and serve God with more purpose … HIS purpose.   

And that’s what Solomon, (see highlight passage - and Ecclesiastes 12:13). came to realize and teach … that life lived for selfish gain was meaningless - like “chasing the wind.”   And Jesus strongly … and often …  taught, during His ministry on earth (see John 14 and 15 above), … that we, who follow our Lord, will find Godly and fruitful purpose in life when we abide in and follow God’s will and His way rather than seeking to do life on our own. 

So, I”m stopping here to pray that we all surrender to be led in life and finding our meaning and purpose by abiding in God’s Spirit and following the ways of our Lord … today and even more, tomorrow.              

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me Your fruitful purpose in life by following Your word.              

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to seek to follow You, Lord, by surrendering to Your Spirit again today.    … AMEN
