My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Lisa M Samra -  AT THIS LINK  - tells of moving to England and ordering bananas along with other groceries.  The ODB author expected to have just a few bananas but was delivered over 7 pounds of bananas because she had ordered in pounds and receive her order in kilograms.  And in doing so she realized that many times God’s blessings and His grace will come more abundantly than we desire or expect.  

When I surrendered my life to follow Christ, I had no clue of the degree of saving and sanctifying grace which would come from God’s mercy in the glorious package of saving grace from our Lord.  How about you, … my readers here today?   As you take in the message about God’s blessings in the song by Laura Story and meditate on God’s grace in the Scriptures above, are you feeling the same degree of gratitude I am today, … realizing just how much our God has blessed us - even when we experience the painful challenges of life?  If so, join me to praise and thank our Lord today for His wondrous love and grace.
