My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Karen Huang - AT THIS LINK - relates a story about a friend, named Fred, whose wife had died and related how he found shelter and support by meeting with his buddies weekly at a diner for breakfast. But, … as the number of his friends dwindled over time, Fred found His solace and strength from the best source he could, … in His relationship with Christ, saying … “I have breakfast by myself now; … but I remember to hold on to the truth that Jesus is with me. And when I leave the diner, I don’t leave to face the rest of my days alone.”
I don’t think I’m stretching my imagination too much to think that some - if not many - of my readers here today are going thru some sort of hard time, … feeling weak and needing the strength which can only come from our relationship with Christ. … Am i wrong? … Do any of you feel like the little baby birds in the attached photo, … needing the safety and wings of protection from mama bird, … Who, of course, … is our Lord, giving His protective grace. I certainly find my strength thru Him; … how about you>
My THANKFULNESS:... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for covering me with Your wings of protection every day of my life.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me here will join me to seek Your refuge and strength today, My Lord.
