My Devotional Journal:: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Marvin Williams - AT THIS LINK - tells of a thief who broke into a phone repair shop with his head covered with a cardboard box, which fell from his head while he was smashing the sales cabinet, revealing who he was to the surveillance cameras.
The story illustrates the human nature to hide who we are when we know we’re sinning and breaking away from God’s commands. And if my readers have internalized the linked song and meditated on the Scriptures above, I’m praying that we all love our Lord enough to obey His calls for us to surrender ourselves to follow His calls and obey Him.
So, what can we do today to show our love for Jesus by surrendering more of ourselves to follow His call? Personally, that’s why i’m here - EVERY DAY - delving deeply into God’s word and praying from Psalms 19:14 and 139:23-24 to give all that I have to follow and obey God’s truth. Why don’t you look up meditate on those two Psalms and join me today to walk in obedience to Jesus’ call to follow Him.
My THANKFULNESS:: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me to follow You.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying today that those who read with me here to join me to respond to Your call, Lord, to obey and follow You all the way to glory. … Amen
