… The Apostle James teaches fellow Christians that they (we) must do what God leads them (us) to do by turning faith into action and committing good deeds for God’s glory.   

My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Bill Crowder -  AT THIS LINK  - relates a story about a perpetrator who assaulted a person in front of many witnesses and when asked by a detective why he did the misdeed in front of so many witnesses, he replied, “I knew they wouldn’t do anything; people never do.”

And that statement,…  if true, … would indite humanity of inaction when we know what’s right to do.  But those of us who know and have faith in Jesus, as Lord and Savior, know what is right to do, … don’t we?  We have no excuses for sinful and selfish misdeeds; … and as the Scriptures above show us, we are called to be God’s representatives of good,  … by turning our Spirit-led thoughts into good deeds for God’s glory.  And that is exactly my intention today.  How about you?                 

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling for me and all of Your disciples to show Your good deeds as Your representatives in this life.       

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me here will join me to be fruitful and share Your good deeds, today, Lord, with others.   … Amen
