My Devotional Journal  Today’s  Our Daily Bread  Author, Amy Boucher Pye -  AT THIS LINK  -   tells of Joni Eareckson Tada, writing about another quadriplegic Christian, named Rika, who was bed-bound for over 15 years; … yet Rika held on to her faith in Christ with tenacity, … with Joni comparing Rika’s faith to that of Eleazar (see the Highlight passage) in the Old Testament.    

And certainly, having taken in the linked song and mediated on the Scriptures above, which are mostly from Moses and The Old Testament Prophets, who were calling from God for His people (that’s us too!) to hold on to their (our) faith, no matter what comes in our life to challenge our faith.  So, … are we doing all we can to HOLD ON, in faith, today?     

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your promises of protection, calling for me to hold on to my faith in You, Lord.       

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me here to hold on to our faith in You, Lord, today … and tomorrow. .… Amen
