My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Winn Collier -  AT THIS LINK  -  told of a rather bizarre practice of hiring someone to openly confess the deceased person’s sins at the that person’s funeral, trying to be cleansed of his or her sins before God.  But rather than such a foolish way to be cleansed of sin, the Scriptures above reveal and declare the only way to be cleansed of our sin is to humbly confess our sins to God, with the faith in God’s promise to heal that one of his/her sins and be given entry into God’s kingdom by our faith in the finished work of Christ on the Cross.  He (Jesus) is the ONLY WAY..   

The ultimate question, therefore, is . have we done that?  I have.  Have you?  …  

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your saving grace, Lord, and preparing a place for me to be with You forever.      

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me have confessed our sins to receive Your saving grace, Lord. … Amen
