3 Then they scoffed, “He’s just a carpenter, the son of Mary and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon. And His sisters live right here among us.” They were deeply offended and refused to believe in Him.

My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Mike Wittmer  -  AT THIS LINK  -   told about a man, named Jon, who rose in his prestigious university to become a full Professor; but his older brother only remembered him as the younger brother he used to wrestle with and take down in their family living room.    

And that’s the way it might have been when Jesus returned to His home town (see the Highlight passage), … His family and friends remembered Jesus as a hometown boy.  But Jesus had grown into the transformed Son of God and would call on all those who would follow Him to see Him as their Brother in the Family of God.  

My friends … Is Jesus the Man Who is your brother yet, your (our) Lord (see photo attached)?  Are you my Brother or Sister in the Family of God?  I pray so!           

My THANKFULNESS:... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for  accepting me into Your Family, dear Lord.      

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me here are ALL members of Your family, Lord!  …  Amen
