My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Tim Gustafson … AT THIS LINK … tells a touching story of how the family of Kelly, a young brain cancer victim who had COVID-19 and was restricted from having visitors. So, the family gathered together outside her hospital window and showed her their love with signs and placards expressing their love and support.
And this story illustrates what the Apostle Paul felt in prison as he wrote about his last days and how the love of fellow Christians lifted his spirits (see highlight passage). And it also illustrates the reference Scriptures above which call on Christians to come TOGETHER in community to serve the Lord, sharing our burdens and resources to experience the power of God’s grace working thru Christian community.
So, … what can we do TOGETHER with fellow Christians to show our love and share our resources to serve God for HIs glory today?
