Paul exhorts fellow Christians to come TOGETHER in the unity of the body of Christ to grow in Christlikeness.

Reference Passage </u>: … John 13:34-35 [NLT] …

34 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

… Jesus showed His disciples (and us) that the best way for Christians to show that they (we) are in Christ is to share our love for one another in the Body of Christ.

Reference Passage: … Philippians 2:3-5 [NLT] …  USE THIS LINK …

God, thru Paull, shows that we break free from our natural selfishness and become more like Christ when we serve others TOGETHER like our Lord commands.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Sheridan Voysey … AT THIS LINK  reflects on all the differences in his own marriage which allow he and his wife, to come together in their faith in Christ to grow TOGETHER and serve the body of Christ more effectively.

The coming TOGETHER, in a marriage-like union, of the vast individual differences in the body of Christ, is a marital word picture often used in the New Testament to depict the Church.  The Church is often like a marriage, isn’t it, … with all these individual differences coming together in the Body of Christ to be fruitful TOGETHER in reflecting the glow of Christlikeness into a very dark and every darkening world?

So, what can we do today, … as Christ’s body, … coming TOGETHER and using our individual talents and gifts, to serve others like our Bridegroom, King Jesus, has given His all to serve us as His Bride?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for bringing me into Your Body, Lord, to serve You with my God-given time, talents, and treasures.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to set aside our differences and use them … TOGETHER … to serve You, Lord, today.  … Amen
