Reference Passage …  1John 1:5-7 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK …

… The Apostle John reflects Jesus’ teaching that when we live in Christlikeness, we reflect His light because His light is in us.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Patricia Rayon … AT THIS LINK   quotes artist Armand Cabrera on the use of reflected light in painting, saying,  “Reflected light is never as strong as its source light.”

And that holds true when we consider God’s light, which we Christians are called to shine into this dark world and my readers can see that from the linked song and the Scriptures above. And tho our reflection of God’s glory may not be as bright as the Light of our Messiah, it still points others in this darkened work to seek the true Light of Christ and follow Him.

So, my Christian friends, let’s go out and shine His light today for all to see the reflection of Him in our witness and testimonies.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me to shine Your light thru my works of Christlikeness.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to go forth today shining Your Light, Lord,     … Amen
