My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Sheridan Voysey … AT THIS LINK tells of the often silly tradition of labeling each day with some special honor, like “Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day;” and today - February 22 - being  “Be Humble Day.”

And I think many - if not all - of my readers would agree that many of those “special days” are really silly.  However, personally, as Christians, I think we should honor EVERY DAY as a “Be Humble Day.”  And if you’ve take in the linked song and meditated deeply on the Scriptures above, I think you would agree that we should make everyday - 24/7 - as a “BE HUMBLE LIKE CHRIST” day, … doing all we can to imitate the humility which was lived out in the life of Christ for all who would believe and follow Him with our lives.

So, let’s all go out and celebrate today (and EVERYDAY) as a “Be Humble Day!”

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me the perfect model of humility for all Christians to follow.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to celebrate Your humility, Lord, by doing all we can to imitate the humble way You lived.       … Amen
