Reference Passage: … 1John 1:7-9 [ESV] … USE THIS LINK

When we’re willing to repent and confess our sins and forgive one another, God will cleanse us from our sin … any/all sin.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Jennifer Benson Schuldt, AT THIS LINK uses the imagery of the sun lifting the fog from a lake to illustrate God clearing the mist of sin from our lives when we’re willing to repent/confess our sins and to forgive others as God has forgiven us in Christ.

I love that imagery of God being willing - and able - to shine down on His faithful, who are hidden in the fogginess of our sin, and clearing the mist of our selfishness with His grace.  And then, … when we shine the grace of our forgiveness on others, we become cleansed of the fog of our selfish sin of anger or bitterness as well.

So, how must we seek the cleansing light of God’s grace to lift the fog of our sin today; … and whom must we willing to forgive, … allowing the warming grace of God’s forgiveness to shine thru and cleanse the fog of our bitterness?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for Your Son cleansing our world of our sinful fog.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me, to confess our fog of sin and let the light of Christ break thru to forgive us and cleanse us. … Amen
