My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Patricia Raybon, AT THIS LINK … writes of how her Pastor stopped his day to receive a call from the oldest woman in their church, … a wise woman, who, at almost 100, was trusted by the Pastor to have Godly wisdom and advice to follow.
I would hope that my readers here, as do I, have a few, Godly-wise people in our lives whom we would trust to give us Godly-wise advice when we need it. That’s what Solomon, or Jesus, or Paul, or James (see Scriptures above) would desire for any of us who need to seek out and follow the ways of our Lord.
Certainly, as Prov 3: 13 and Eph 5:15-16 warn us, thru Solomon and the Apostle Paul, to seek out, find, and follow Godly ways rather than our own fickle feelings … so that God, thru His truth, will lead us down His paths of wisdom. To that end I pray for us all to trust in God’s word to lead us to find His wise ways.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, …for shining Your light on my path so that I may follow Your wisdom to the joy You have for me in my future.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to seek out Your wise ways to follow today and tomorrow.. … Amen
