My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Amy Boucher Pie -  AT THIS LINK  -  relates the story of how Elizabeth Fry in the early 1800s, was appalled at how horribly women were treated in women’s prisons.  And so, Fry devoted her life to improving the conditions for any/all women who were imprisoned in those days.

And if my readers have taken in the linked song and the Scriptures above (as I pray you have), we all certainly should be convicted to live our lives as Jesus lived His; … to serve those who are oppressed and in need.   I certainly am so convicted; … HOW ABOUT YOU?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me, as Your servant, to serve others.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying today that those who read with me here will join me to reach out and serve others as You, Lord, have served us.     Amen
