My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread   Author, Matt Lucas -  AT THIS LINK   tells of a friend who had violated the vows he made to his wire and was seeking counsel as to what to do to reconcile with his wife.  The ODB author told his friend to be proactive and show his wife that he was removing any sin patterns from his life.  It’s how we all need to live our lives, as repentant Christians, who worship God with the way we live to serve the Lord.

And if my readers have taken in the linked song and meditated on the Scriptures shared above, all of us are called by God, and His word, to rid our lives of any idol worship and return to God with repentant hearts of worship.  That’s why you find me here - cay-by-day - beginning each day with a quiet time of prayer and saturating my heart with God’s truth (i.e., God’s word), committing my life, with a heart of repentance, to follow my Lord.   Are you with me today?  And then on to tomorrow!!

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for  calling me to live with a repentant heart, committed to follow You, my Lord.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me here will join me today to live for You, Lord, with a repentant heart in faithful service for You. …  Amen
