My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Nancy Gavilanes … AT THIS LINK -   … The ODB author related a true story of the author and a group of fellow Christians on a short-term mission project in the Amazon jungle, during the wet season, praying and working hard together, with God holding off the rains, to raise the walls of a new church on the foundation which had already been laid previously; and working hard to get the project done for God’s glory.  

The project was, for the ODB author, reminiscent of God’s people, led by Nehemiah (see Highlight passage), rebuilding the walls in Jerusalem after their return to Jerusalem from exile in Babylon.  …  And I’m stopping, …  motivated by God’s word in the linked song and in the Scriptures shared today, to work TOGETHER in unity with fellow Christians to build God’s kingdom.  We can do it with God’s help and protection, can’t we?!                      

          

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for allowing - and calling me - to join with other fellow Christians to do all we can - TOGETHER -  to work for Your glory, Lord.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that all reading here will join me, …  to work in unity … TOGETHER … for Your glory, Lord. … Amen
