My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Leslie Koh … AT THIS LINK -        … The ODB author tells of simply picking up a bus pass and returning it to a dad and his child who had dropped the pass, … and wondering why the ODB author felt so good about doing such a small thing for the two people.  But we know now, … from scientific studies, … that our brains produce certain chemicals to give us feelings of wellness or goodness when we help or do good deeds for others. In other words, we are created to do good works for others and to feel good for doing those good deeds.   

So, what holds us back from becoming God’s ambassadors of goodness in this world?  Good question!!  So, I’m stopping to pray - right here —> right now - that we all go out … TODAY … and be God’s agents of goodness, as Cece Winans sings in the linked song, … doing good for others and releasing those fruitful brain chemicals which are God’s reward for being His ambassador of goodness in this world today.                      

          

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for helping me to feel good about goodness today.  

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that all reading here will join me, …  as we seek to share Your goodness, Lord, with others … today.   … Amen
