My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Elisa Morgan  … AT THIS LINK       … The ODB author related a true story of how a Kenyan elephant sanctuary received a call to help a young elephant calf which had fallen into a deep pit with 2/3 of its trunk torn away by hyenas.   The sanctuary workers rescued the young elephant and named it “Long-uro,” which means “something which has been cut.”  And they discovered that the remaining elephants in the sanctuary adopted and innately cared for the wounded calf.  

That’s God’s way, isn't it?  When one of God’s kingdom is wounded or ailing, as it comes out in God’s word shared above, God’s Spirit comes forth in His chosen, i.e., The Church, to care for  and nourish those who are in need of healing.  And that’s what I’m praying for today; … that we do all we can to, … thru the unity and power of God’s Spirit, … to care for fellow Christians who are ailing today and come to our attention.                       

      

My Thanksgiving:… Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for Your Spirit, living in me today to give me and other fellow Christians the Spirit power to help others whom You call us to help today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that all reading here will join me, …  as God calls us, thru Your Spirit, Lord, to help today.
