My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Monica La Rose  … AT THIS LINK -  … Confessed of having a weakness to purchase good books, … hardback classics, … but not having the time to read them all; … and she also quoted a popular essayist, John Updike, who was commenting on an American classic book, Walden, who wrote about the book…  that it was… “revered and unread as the Bible.”  And his comments may hold true of too many of us about the Bibles we may have in our collection.

What about you?  … What about me? … How many Bibles do we have on our book shelves?  And are they, … i.e, God’s words, … all revered and read as often as God has written of His truth?  I think not; because, … as His own word declares <b>(see Scriptures above)</b>, The Lord sends out His word; and it leads our life with his truth just a He declares it .  And I’m praying that we revere and read it, … yes, even daily … to lead is in our lives. 

         

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for leading me with Your truth again today. 

My Prayer Today:  Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that all reading here will join me, …  as hold up Your truth to lead us today and then again tomorrow.   … Amen
