My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Julie Schwab, AT THIS LINK … wrote of feeling abandoned by God during the 2020 Covid pandemic, with her fears of the virus, compounded by financial woes and the isolation so many were experiencing at the time.
These days, you often hear frustrated people who say ”WHATEVER!” … They probably feel a lot like Jeremiah’s lament in the highlight passage, or the cries of King David in Psalm 37. And the ODB author realized, as did Solomon In Proverbs 3:5-6, that we need to trust God no matter what befalls us in this life; … and that WHATEVER comes our way, as the Apostle Paul reflected in Romans 8:28, … it’s for our good as Christ’s disciples and for His glory as our God.
So, … I’m praying today that we all can - AND WILL - trust in our God to be with us as He promised in Matthew 28:20 … to provide what we need …WHATEVER may befall us on our road ahead in life … yes, even today!
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for being there to lift me up today … NO MATTER WHAT comes my way.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to be thankful and trust our God no matter what may come our way today. … Amen
