… Jesus, when challenged by a lawyer, quotes from Deuteronomy 6, that God’s children are to love God and live as He calls us to live … for God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. … But do we?!  

 

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Winn Collier, AT THIS LINK  … used a true story about 3 teens wrongly convicted of a murder and jailed for 36 years, … illustrating that the justice of man can be flawed at times when compared to God’s justice, which is always perfect. . 

And that truth is born out in the scriptures above, … where God - thru His prophets and our Lord, calls us to love God and live for Him humbly with Godly love, kindness, and mercy.  However, we can - and often do - fall short of that call, don’t we?  But the call is still there thru God’s word, as in Micah 6:8 and Matt 22:37; and I pray that all reading here with me will do all we can to live up to that call today.  

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for being our model of perfect love and justice today and all days.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to do all we can to serve You, Lord, with love and justice today. … Amen
