Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...   Please take the time to take in a song and lyrics from Laura Story singing … Grace Abounds … poignantly singing of how God’s saving and sanctifying grace abounds in the hearts and lives of born-again followers of Christ.

38 Peter replied [to the crowd, asking how they can be saved], “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

… Peter shows that our surrender in faith to God’s amazing grace results in our salvation.

Reference Passage: … John 3:16 [NLT] …

16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

… Jesus shows that any/all who believe in Him will be saved from our sin by God’s grace and have eternal life.

Reference Passage: … Romans 5:8 [NLT] …

But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

… Paul teaches fellow Christians that God showed His amazing love and grace by dying for sinners on the cross.

Reference Passage: … Ephesians 2:8 [NLT] …

God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

… Paul also teaches more Christians that it was (and is) God’s grace which saves us thru our faith in the truth of God’s gospel.

Highlight Passage [Context]: … Titus 2:11-14 [NLT] …  USE THIS LINK …

… Paul preaches the truth about God’s amazing, saving grace to fellow Christians on Crete.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Mike Wittmer, AT THIS LINK illustrates God’s amazing and saving grace by the scene the play. Les Misérables, where the main character, Jean Valjean, who has stolen silver from a forgiving Priest, is told by the Priest, “You belong no longer to evil, but to good.”  And the forgiven sinner, Valjean, goes forth to live a repentant and upright life, … showing how God’s amazing grace changes the course of any life for those who believe and follow its Gospel truth.

And if you’ve taken in the linked song and the truth from God’s word above, I pray that all reading here have believed the preaching of Peter at Pentecost and Paul, repetitively to many on his missionary journeys; … and most certainly believed the truth of what Jesus taught Nicodemus in John 3:16.

Because, if we do REALLY BELIEVE in those Gospel truths, like Jean Valjean, we can go forth in repentance and live changed lives because of the amazing and powerful grace which is imparted to us when we believe in and follow Christ.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your amazing and empowering grace to live by following You.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to live our lives under the influence of Your AMAZING GRACE, Lord.  … Amen
