My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Marvin Williams AT THIS LINK relates a story of two old CFL football players who got in a fight on stage a league event from a grudge which they had held for years. And as the fight went on, those in attendance at the event, cried out, ”Let it go!!”, which is good - and Godly - advice for anyone who holds onto anger and enmity toward another for any length of time.

God’s word, repetitively, in the Old and New Testaments (see Scriptures above). commands us, as disciple of Christ, to let go of any grudges we hold onto and to do as Matthew West sings in the linked song … i.e., to forgive and show love to any who’ve wronged us in the past.

And that’s my prayer for anyone reading here who might be holding on to a desire to seek vengeance for any wrong which was done to us in the past. Common, dear one, … let’s LET IT GO with a forgiving heart, … praying for any who’ve wronged us and moving on with the peace of Christ in our hearts today.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me how to forgive those who’ve wronged me in my past.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to forgive anyone in our past who’ve wronged us and to move on in peace … Your peace, Lord. … Amen
