May 15, 2022 …Looking Around and Seeing God …

Berry Patch Devotions in 2021 - Day 134

Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ... https://bit.ly/3DcyKFR … Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from Brian Doerksen singing … Creation Calls … poignantly singing of how looking around us into creations sings loudly of God.

Look around and see our God ...

==============

Highlight Passage [Context]: … Colossians 1:17 [NLT] …

17 He existed before anything else, and He holds all creation together.

…Our God existed before anything we see around us and created it all for us and for His glory.

Highlight Passage [Context]: … Colossians 1:15-20 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK …

… Paul writes the truth about the Pre-Existent Creator, God.

===============                 .

Reference Passage: … Genesis 1:1 [NLT] …

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

… God, thru Moses, reveals the truth about the creations of all we see around us.

Reference Passage : … Psalm 19:1-2 [NLT] …

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make Him known.

… King David sings of the glory of God seen in the heavens day and night. .

Reference Passage: … John 1:3 [NLT] …

All thins were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.

… The Apostle John writes truth about what we see all around us.

Reference Passage: … Romans 1:20 [NLT] …

20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

… Mankind has no excuse to deny God’s existence by simply looking around in creation to see His handiwork and power.

Reference Passage: … Hebrews 11:3 [NLT] …

By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

… It is by faith that we come to see that God created all we see in the universe.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Tim Gustafson … AT THIS LINK … tells about a prominent astronomer, declaring himself to be an atheist, declaring, “A common sense interpretation of the facts suggests that a super-intellect has monkeyed with physics, as well as with chemistry and biology.” Even tho the scientist wouldn’t admit that it was GOD who was doing the “monkeying” with physics, he could look around him and see that some “super-intellect” was creating everything.

And, my fellow Christians, … when you look around you, as Brian Doerksen sings in the linked song, … do you see God’s handiwork? I do, … just like King David did when he looked into the heavens and sang about it in Psalm 19, … just like Paul did [see above in Romans 1 and Colossians 1] when the Apostle declared that we have no excuse to deny our God when we look around us into creation.

So, my friend, look around you and join me to declare our thanks and praise for what our God has created.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for what You have crated for us all.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to look around and declare a robust ”HALLELUJAH! for what You, Lord, have created. Amen
