My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Winn Collier … AT THIS LINK … tells the true story of a 19th century explorer in Africa who had to fight off an attack by an 80 pound leopard, using his last ounce of strength to strangle the attacking beast.
And I think all my readers recognize that we’re going to have to fight off spiritual beasts every day in life. However, … as the Apostles Paul, John and Peter write in the Scriptures above, we have the armament and strength of God’s Spirit to fend off and stand firm against the attacks of our Spiritual enemies.
So, my friend, let’s go forward, remembering that we have God’s strength in us, which is greater than the strength of our enemies, to put on the full armor of God to do battle today … AND WIN!!
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your empowering grace as I do battle today.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to put on Your full armor and take up the sword of the Spirit today to do battle against our enemies. Amen
