My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Winn Collier … AT THIS LINK … tells of two young people, one young lady, an Iraqi immigrant, and the other young man, an American, were there on different sides of a protest rally. And yet when Joseph, the young man was threatened with harm, Amina, the young woman, felt compelled to help him out of human decency.
And, in a nutshell, that story illustrates how mankind, separated by our original sin, has been brought together in our common created humanity (see highlight passage) to be unified to serve Christ’s call for unity in Him (see John 15 and 17 above).
And that is my prayer today, that we set aside all of our differences; and, as Chris Tomlin sings in the linked song, … to come together … in the unity of Christ to serve God as He designed us. How about we give hot a real go today?!!
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for creating me to serve You today … and tomorrow … and forever!
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to come together today to go out and serve You, dear Lord. Amen
