Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...   Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from the group Hillsong United singing … For All I AM of You Lord … poignantly singing or how our surrender to worship the Lord refreshes our soul.

==============

Highlight Passage [Context]: …   1Corinthians 16:18 [NLT] …

18 They [i.e., the household of fellow Christians] have been a wonderful encouragement to me, as they have been to you. You must show your appreciation to all who serve so well.

… Paul uses the example of the love/grace of a Christian convert, Stephanas, to exhort fellow Christians to show hospitality and love to others, … especially fellow Christians.

Highlight Passage [Context]: … 1Corinthians 16:15-18 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK …

… Paul uses the example of the household of Stephanas, calling on fellow Christians to do all we can to share Chris love with others - especially fellow Christians.                                             ===============                 .

Reference Passage: … Galatians 6:9-10 [NLT] …

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. 10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.

… Paul strongly exhorts fellow Christians to never grow weary of doing good for others, especially fellow Christians.

Reference Passage: … Philippians 3:3-5 [NLT] …  USE THIS LINK

… Paul shows Christians (and that’s us, too!) to do whatever we do, especially helping others,  to serve our Lord.

Reference Passage: … Hebrews 10:24, 13:6 [NLT] …  USE THIS LINK

… God’s word, thru the author of Hebrews, charges Christians to reach out to others - in/for our Lord - to help do all we can to serve in ways that would please The Lord.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Arthur Jackson … AT THIS LINK  relates a personal story about about being uplifted and refreshed by being invited to dine in the home of an African household, the family being very poor and living in a home with dirt floors, … yet serving the ODB author with such Christlike joy and love, … giving all in attendance such refreshing grace.

And that’s what the Apostle Paul wrote that he had experienced in the loving household of a Greek convert to Christ (see the highlight passage).  And it’s the kind of sharing and outreach Paul exhorted fellow Christians to share with others, especially other fellow Christians (see Reference passages above).

So, today … I’m going to be on the outlook to do what I can to lift someone else up by sharing anything I have to help another in need.   Will you join me in this quest for sharing Christlike love?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your enabling grace to share with others.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to seek ways,TODAY, Lord, to serve You by serving others.         Amen
