My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Anne Cetas, AT THIS LINK   tells of a couple shopping for pottery and finding a piece which was cracked and purposely buying it because they felt it represented how Christ desires to use us in our brokenness for His glory.

I’ve always been interested in the Japanese art form of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is mended with gold into an art form … where brokenness is repaired and revalued into a useable and valuable piece of art.  (See photo)  And most certainly that an apt picture of what our Lord does for us broken-down sinners. … in making us over - from our brokenness - into reusable and even artful pieces of pottery for God’s glory.

Oh, I pray that all with me here take in the linked song and Scriptures above to go into this week of Thanksgiving ahead with thankful hearts for our King, Jesus, Who is remaking us into His image day-by-day-by-day.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for making me over into Your image daily, Lord.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to willingly go to Your Potter’s wheel, Lord, to be remade into Your image.      … Amen
