Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...  Please take the time to take in a song and lyrics from Chris Tomlin singing … Is He Worthy … powerfully singing of the true worship of our Lord as worthy of our worship, ALWAYS … wherever and whenever we might be.

Pilgrims in Bethlehem come to worship ???

Jesus declares that our time has come to worship HIM as LORD … the Messiah!!

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, John Blasé, AT THIS LINK   shows how people can get their (our) worship misdirected, showing how some come to worship the place in Bethlehem where Jesus was felt to have been born, the Grotto of the Nativity, (see photo) a shrine where many pilgrims to the Holy Land come to express their worship.

I’ve been to that tourist shrine to the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.   However, … and while there, …  I felt uncomfortable, wondering if pilgrims, like those in the photo, had come to worship a place rather than the Person of the One Who was born to save us from our sins.  That was what Jesus came to tell the Samaritan woman in the highlight passage, didn’t He?  He wanted her (and us) to know that the time had come when mankind was to worship Him, … as Messiah and Lord, … in Spirit and in truth.

And that’s my prayer for us here today; … that we be - and become - true worshippers, not focusing our worship on any place or on any traditions of worship; … but rather on the One Who came to die and defeat death so that we could have everlasting life.

So, let us stop … RIGHT NOW … and worship our LORD with the way we live and love others in His Name and for His glory! … Yes, …today … right now … as we read this together and take in the linked song.  … No matter where we are!   No matter what time of day.  Let’s worship our Lord, … in Spirit and truth!!

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for reminding us that You’re commanding our worship … RIGHT NOW … as I sit here , writing this, in front of my computer. As Chris Tomlin sings, YOU ARE TRULY WORTHY of our worship.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to praise and worship You, Lord … for You are worthy of our worship!  … Amen
