My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Arthur Jackson, AT THIS LINK  … Quotes Jerome Bettis, in his acceptance speech when selected to the NFL Hall of Fame, repeating what Bettis’ dad said to him …  “Son, there’s not much that I can give you that’s more important than our good name.” 

And that was a theme revisited over and over again by the Apostle Paul in his letters to fellow Christians (see Pauline Scriptures above), … exhorting us who claim to wear the label “Christian,” that we wear that Name - i.e the Name of “CHRIST” - gladly and with a thankful heart, as Don Moen sings in the linked song. 

And I join the Apostle Paul’s exhortations for all of us today.               

My THANKFULNESS:... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving us Your Name to wear thankfully in all we think, say, and do.   

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to wear Your Name, Lord, with a thankful heart EVERY DAY.  … Amen
