My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Got Bee Lee, AT THIS LINK …writes of the author’s daughter, who suffered from the itchiness of eczema, who protected her child from the same condition with “ScratchMeNot” garments (see photo), which protected the child from scratching and damaging the skin and therefore providing the child with comfort.
And it’s a good life picture of what God provides us thru His Spirit, … a Comforter … to give us protection from our selves just as Jesus promised His disciples (see John 14:27). And in turn we, as Jesus’ disciples, are charged (see remaining Scriptures) to be comfort to others as our Lord is our Comforter always.
So, dear one, let’s do all we can today to comfort others who need Christlike comforting !!
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for Your comforting care which gives us the enabling grace to comfort others.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to do all we can to be “ScratchMeNot” comforters for others today. … Amen
