My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Cindy Hess Kasper, AT THIS LINK   … tells of how a church in TN, near Nashville, established a “rainy day” fund to help business owners in their area who were suffering financially during the COVID crisis, … helping them to see the Son shine on their need during the rainy days of the pandemic.   

And if my readers have taken in the linked song and meditated on the Scriptures above, we see God’s word calling loudly and often in the OT and NT to be givers, … as God has given to us, … so generously with His love and mercy and grace, … calling us to then return it to others who are in need.  We remember God’s call to give as He has given to us … so, … SO, … SO generously and sacrificially.           

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for being able to give to others as You have given to me. 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to reach out to give to others as You, Lord, have given so generously and sacrificially to us.   … Amen
