Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ... Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from tom Don Moen leading in worship and singing … Give Thanks … poignantly singing of how we Christian should be continually expressing a heart of thanksgiving to our Lord.

Giving thanks with a grateful heart ...

===============                                                                     .                                 .

Reference Passage: …  1Chronicles 16:8 [ESV] …

Kind David sings a charge to believers to declare their (our) thanks for God’s greatness.

Reference Passage: … Psalm 100 [ESV] …  USE THIS LINK ...

… King David’s song of thanksgiving for fellow believers to sing to the Lord.

Reference Passage: …   Romans 8:28 [ESV] …

28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them..

… Paul shows that all things in our lives as Christians are for our good and for God’s glory.

Reference Passage: …   Ephesians 5:20 [ESV] …

20 And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

… Paul charges fellow Christians to give thanks to God for EVERYTHING in our lives.

Reference Passage: …  1Thessalonians 5:18 [ESV] …

18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

… Paul shows fellow believers (and us) that we should ALWAYS be thankful for we Christians belong to Christ.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Elisa Morgan … AT THIS LINK tells of a study done by Psychologist Robert Emmons, where adults were given a health status inventory and then randomly were divided into three groups.  Group 1 was asked to list 5 things for which they were thankful.  Group 2 listed five things which were hassles in their lives.  And a control group listed five things which minimally impacted them.  The study revealed that Group one, the thankful group, had far the best health results on the health inventory.

And if my readers have taken in the linked song and meditated on the scriptures above, especially those where the Apostle Paul repetitively and ardently called on fellow Christians to express our thankfulness to God; or from King David who calls on believers to thankfully sing of God’s glory and His greatness, we see that our hearts, as Christians, should continually be expressing our gratitude for all God has done for us.

Oh how I pray you join me - well, at least right now - to thank God for all that He has done for us, believing the truth of Romans 8:28, that everything in our lives is for our good and God’s glory.

Will you join me, with a thankful heart, in a robust “PRAISE THE LORD!!!”

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for EVERYTHING in my life.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … with a heart of thanksgiving to praise our Lord !!      .… Amen
