Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...  Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from tom Done Moen singing … Thank You Lord … poignantly singing of how we Christians need thank our God for EVERYTHING in our lives … yes, EVERYTHING!!

God watches over every detail ...

==============

Highlight Passage: … Exodus 2:10   [ESV] …

10 Later, when the boy was older, his mother brought him back to Pharaoh’s daughter, who adopted him as her own son. The princess named him Moses, for she explained, “I lifted him out of the water.”

… Pharaoh’s daughter hires Moses’ birthmother to be his nurse-maid and named the boy, “Moses,” thinking it meant “lifted from the water.” However, in Egyptian the name actually means, “the one who lifts out,” showing how God even used the details of Moses’ name to describe whom he would become.

Highlight Passage (Context): …  Exodus 2:1-10 [NLT] …  USE THIS LINK …

  Moses’ birth and the adoption story of Moses being drawn from the Nile by Pharaoh’s daughter and giving his name “Moses,” meaning “the one who draws out,” shows how God is involved in all the details of life.

===============                                                                     .

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Tim Gustafson … AT THIS LINK Relates a story of a family during the COVID pandemic and how God provided exactly what the mother of a family needed at exactly the right moment in time, showing how God is in all of the details of our lives as Christians.

Then the ODB author and the Scriptures above point out that God is sovereign over every detail in our lies, using the story of Moses being lifted from the Nile to illustrate God’s sovereign watch-care over our lives.(see photo).  … Do you know and believe what God’s word says in Romans 8:28? …  I do!  … Our Lord doesn’t leave anything to chance, does He?  NOTHING!  He’s not surprised by ANYTHING that happens in our lives!

So, as we live out today - and tomorrow - will you join me with our joy-filled gratitude for all that is going on in our lives; because our God is in every detail, … which is for our good and His glory.

And so, as Don Moen sings in the linked song, … THANK YOU, LORD !!!

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for being my ALPHA and my OMEGA, watching over every detail of my life.
