My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Jenifer Benson Schuldt … AT THIS LINK   uses a story of her daughter waiting in faith for two pet crabs who had buried themselves in the sand in a tank of water to shed their exoskeletons.  She had been promised they would come out of their shells; and tho it took over two months, they finally came forth as promised by the experts.

And the story curiously illustrates how we, who’re born-again disciples of Christ. must take in the promises of God, believe them, and then wait for them to unfold as we read in the Scriptures above.

So, my Christian friends, take in God’s promises above, along with the linked song, and them KNOW that our God is coming again for us … to give us the eternal life He, … our Lord, … has promised for those who remain faithful as children of God.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for Your promises of a new life with You in Heaven.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to believe, Lord, in, and hold out for, Your promise of eternal life.    .… Amen
