Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ... Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from the group People and Song singing … Do They See Jesus In Me … powerfully singing of how we, as are redeemed from the destruction of our sin nature to a redeemed and eternal life with Christ.

Highlight Passage: … Joel 2:25 [NLT] …

15 The Lord says, “I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, … it was I Who sent this great army against you.

… God shows that it was HE Who sent a destroying army (i.e., “locusts”) against His beloved, but rebellious, people; but it is His eternal promise to redeem and restore His remnant of true believers.

… A Psalmist sings of God true and eternal covenant - and trustworthy - promise, thru His word, to save and redeem His chosen people.

Highlight Passage [Context]: … John 3:16 [NLT] …

16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

… Jesus teaches Nicodemus (and all who read this truth) that He will save all who believe on Jesus as the agent of God’s restoration and redemption of His faithful believers.

Highlight Passage [Context]: … Ephesians 1:5-7 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK ...

… Paul teaches great truth about God’s forgiving grace and how Christ poured out that grace by shedding His blood to redeem and restore those who would believe on Him for eternal life.

Highlight Passage [Context]: … 1Peter 1:18-21 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK ...

… Peter teaches oppressed Christians (and us) of Christ shedding His blood to redeem and restore His faithful followers and trusting believers.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Katara Patton, … AT THIS LINK writes about her mother who gave up a dream of becoming a home economics teacher to get married and raise a family. But she also related how, later in life, her mom was able to redeem that dream by becoming a nutritionist’s aide and teaching young women and mothers how to cook more nutritious meals for their personal and family health.

It’s not uncommon for our path in life to take a detour (or maybe more than one), requiring us to trust that God will redeem our choices for His glory if we believe and trust His eternal plan for our lives. Two truths come to mind immediately (not cited above). Look up or meditate on Proverbs 3:5-6 and Romans 8:28 to see how we must trust that ALL THINGS truly work out for the good for those who trust and wait on God’s plan to redeem what may seem like promises unfulfilled along the way in life.

Please take in the linked song and the Scriptures above to help us realize that God has promised to save and redeem and restore any who believe in the finished work of Christ on the cross. “It is finished,” my friend; and for any of us who are born again believers in Christ, He’s going to redeem and restore our lives for His glory. Believe it, my friend; … IT”S TRUE!!

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for redeeming me in/with Your blood, Lord.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to know that we are being redeemed and restored to live for Your glory, Lord. Amen
