Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ... Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from the group Casting Crowns singing … Until the Whole World Hears … powerfully singing of how we Christians are called to share the “good news” of the gospel with the world until the whole world hears of Jesus’ saving love and grace.

Highlight Passage [Context]: … Proverbs 3:5-6 [NLT] …
5 Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart; and do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek His will in ALL you do, and He will show you which path to take.
… God, thru Solomon, shows that we must completely trust and follow God’s ways.
Highlight Passage [Context]: … Matthew 28:19 [NLT] …
19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
… Jesus commissions ALL disciples of His to go and share with Gospel with the world, empowered by God’s Spirit.
Highlight Passage [Context]: … Mark 16:14-16 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK …
… After the resurrection, Jesus appears to the 11 Disciples, rebukes their stubborn unbelief, and charges them (and us now), as His disciples, to go into all the world and share the good news of His saving grace.
Highlight Passage [Context] </u>: … Acts 1:8 [NLT] … </b>
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
… Just before His ascension back into heaven, Jesus charges all born-again disciples [that’s us too!!] to be witness to the good-news of the Gospel to all the world.
My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Patricia Raybon … AT THIS LINK … tells of getting an email from someone, writing to her, … “Request salvation. I would like to know Jesus.” And realizing the Spirit-led motivation of this friend, the ODB author presented the Gospel to the friend as simply as she could, … later hearing that the friend had found a church, repented of past sins, and was baptized. Praise the Lord for just keeping the good-news of Christ’s saving grace simple; and leaving the rest to the power of the God’s Spirit.
And that’s what happened in the highlight passage, when God’s Spirit led Philip to connect with an Ethiopian diplomat who wanted Philip to share the meaning of Isaiah’s message of salvation. And all Philip did was share - as simply and clearly as he could - the meaning of God’s word to the Eunuch. And the power of God’s truth and His good-news of grace led the Ethiopian to salvation that very day.
And when it comes to sharing the Gospel with others, I’ve learned to apply the “K.I.S.S.” principle: … “Keep It Simple, Stupid!!” And I usually try to do this by simply and briefly telling others that coming to believe in Jesus’s grace totally changed my life, along with my desire that our Lord can do the same for the one with whom I sharing the Gospel. And I pray now that any and all of us might have the opportunity - maybe today - to share God’s saving grace with someone. And if we do, let’s KEEP IT SIMPLE!!!
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for using Your word to keep Your love and grace simple for me on the day I was saved.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to keep the Gospel truth simple when we have an opportunity to share Your grace, Lord, with others. Amen
