My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Kirsten Holmberg, … AT THIS LINK … used the illustration of John Nash, who shared his brilliant mind and his understanding of mathematics to change the lives of many. Nash, in spite of mental issues, was willing to share his ideas with anyone who would hear.
My friend, … God doest’t need for us to have brilliant minds to share what He has called all Christians to share … and that is the good news of the Gospel. That’s what Isaiah did in the highlight passage; and that’s what Jesus calls all His disciples to do just before He ascended into heaven (see Matt. 28 and Acts 1:8). And the obvious question from my reading of this ODB entry is … AM I? … Or rather … ARE WE?
I sure could do more to do what Steve Green sings about in the linked song; … how about you?
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for Your calling for me to be Your Gospel witness today? … Help me to do more, Lord!!
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to be Your gospel messenger today, … witnessing for you, King Jesus! Amen
