My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Dave Brandon… AT THIS LINK … shows the partiality of attention and press that was devoted to the deaths of famous NBA star Kobe Bryant and his daughter, when tragically 7 others also died in that helicopter crash in January 2020.
Sadly that’s the way human nature goes, isn’t it? Our sin nature so often leads us to favor the rich/famous, … certainly over the down-and-out in this world, doesn’t it? When we see a homeless beggar on a street corner, (see photo), don’t we often find our attitudes judging that one as less than ourselves.
I do; and I’m now praying for forgiveness and an attitude of Christlikeness (see Scriptures above) to deal with others the way Christ has dealt with us us all - impartially and sacrificially.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me my partiality in dealing with others in need.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to shed our partiality in dealing with others. Amen
