Reference Passage: …  John 1:17-18 [NLT] …

17 For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is Himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

Reference Passage: …  1John 5:20 [NLT] …

20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given us understanding so that we can know the true God.  And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and He is eternal life.

… John teaches fellow Christians that we can know God by knowing His Son, Jesus, Who is The Christ.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread< author, Alyson Kieda… AT THIS LINK …  … quotes from the writings of C.S. Lewis, a British former atheist who came to faith in Jesus as Lord, writing in his book, Mere Christianity   “Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God, but let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher.”

So, … if my readers today have taken in that quote from C.S. Lewis and have heard the linked song and meditated on the Scriptures above, I ask you: … Whom do you say Jesus is?   Because there’s only three choices for a man claiming to be God, as Jesus clearly did.   To make such a claim, the Man, Jesus, had to have been either a liar, a lunatic, or The Lord.

Personally, I believe Him to be THE LORD; and I follow Him as such.  How about you?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for being MY LORD.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to decide to follow You, King Jesus, as our Lord … ALWAYS.   … Amen
