Highlight Passage [Context]: … Acts 3:7-8 [NLT] …

Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened. He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.

A lame beggar dances with joy after being given God’s healing gift of grace.

Reference Passage: … 1Corinthians 10:13 [NLT] …

13 The temptations [or also translated “trials, troubles, or tests] in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation [trial, testing, or trouble] to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted [or troubled], He will show you a way out so that you can endure.

Paul reaches fellow Christians that they (we) can expect God’s empowering grace to help us deal with the trials and troubles of life.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Mike Wittmer … AT THIS LINK   relates a story about two young sisters in India who had been born blind but the parents could not afford the surgery necessary to heal their blindness.  But medical missionaries traveled to a town near them and surgery was offered which wondrously brought sight to the girls, … one of the girls declaring joyfully, ”Mother; … I can see, … I can see !!”

And the story reminded the ODB author of Peter and John coming upon a beggar in the Temple where the Apostles had come to pray (see highlight passage), … the man begging for some money.  But the Apostles had no money to give the man; so they offered him God’s healing grace.  And as we can see in the attached photo, the man leaped and danced for joy.

My Christian friend, what did you feel like when you realized that you had been healed from the brokenness of sin by God’s saving and healing grace?  Do you feel like dancing with joy today that you’ve been healed by God’s grace and you have the ability to go forth and walk free from the burdens of your sin nature and share God’s amazing/healing grace with others.

Personally, right now I’m emotionally feeling great joy and looking to do all I can - even today - to use the Spirit-given gifts that I’ve been given by my Savior to share His saving and sanctifying grace with others.  Do you join me to go and share God’s love and healing grace with others today?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your empowering grace to walk with and for You, Lord, today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  as to go forth today to use all that You’ve given us, Lord, to share Your love and grace with others.  … Amen
