My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Xochitl Dixon… AT THIS LINK  relates a touching - and true - story of a father and daughter imprisoned in the same prison who were baptized - and SAVED - on the same day, in the same prison, as they both surrendered to be saved thru their faith in Christ’s saving grace.

And this touching story of God’s ever-faithful saving love caused the ODB author to recall another true story of God’s amazing and faithful grace when Paul and Silas were imprisoned in a Philippian prison (see highlight passage) and an earthquake caused the cell doors to open, giving Paul and Silas an opportunity to escape.  But the two disciples of Christ stayed in the prison, more concerned with sharing God’s love/grace with the jailer and his family.  And that day, that jailor and his entire family came to faith in Christ thru the witness of Paul and Silas.

Whom do we know who is still in the jail of their unbelief and needs someone who cares enough to reach out and share God’s love and His saving grace with them?   If we know of such a one, as Steve Green sings in the linked song, … someone who needs the Lord, … let’s be willing to share how God’s faithful love has reached out to save us (see reference Scriptures above); … because we know how God’s saving grace changes lives, don’t we?  … So, let’s be willing to share that love with someone today … or tomorrow.

My THANKFULNESS:... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … loving me with Your saving grace.  Give me an opportunity to share Your love with someone who needs You today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to seek opportunities to share Your saving grace, Lord, with others who need You today.      … Amen
