Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...  Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from Zach Williams singing … Less Like Me powerfully singing of how we Christians should be humbly trying to become more like Jesus and less like the sinners we are in the flesh.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Patricia Rayon … AT THIS LINK relates a story about a missionary opening a bag of chips to take in a snack in the presence of natives in the Dominican Republic, curious to see them grab the chips from her.  First thinking it was rude, but later humbly learning that sharing with others in that culture showed the people really cared about the missionary.  And as that was the attitude Christ would want from her in sharing His grace with the people, she was humbled to learn this cultural lesson.

Would you agree that Jesus was - AND IS - our model of humble love and grace when we deal with others in this life?  Of course He is; and Zach Williams nails this truth in the linked song, doesn’t he; … calling on us to become more like Jesus and less like what we are in our selfish/sin nature?

So, I’m praying that we meditate and internalize the truths in the Scriptures above from Solomon, King David, Paul, Peter, James, and Jesus Himself, strongly exhorting us to follow and take on the humility of Christ and to humbly share His love/grace with the world.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for leading me to humbly follow You again today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to humbly follow Your ways again today, Lord.  … Amen
