Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...  Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from the group Phillips, Craig, and Dean singing He’ll Do Whatever It Takes … poignantly singing of God’s Spirit is willing to do whatever it takes to help us be cleansed of our sin when we’re willing to confess and repent of past sins.

Reference Passage : … Genesis 16:13 [NLT] … 13 Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord [I.e., “El-roi”], Who had spoken to her. She said, “You are the God who sees me.”
… Hagar recognizes that God ALWAYS sees us - His family.

Reference Passage : … Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 [NLT] … 13 That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty. 14 God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad.
… God, thru Solomon, reminds us that God will judge us in Heaven for everything we do.

Reference Passage : … 1John 1:7-9 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK
… We are reminded by John that we cannot claim to be sinless … that we can confess our sins, repent and be cleansed of any/ALL sin.

My Devotional Journal: Today's ODB author, James Banks, uses a story of a dog trying to hide from misdoings to illustrate how we cannot hide our sin from God. … The ODB author wrote: “Oh no!” My wife’s voice rang out when she stepped into the kitchen. The moment she did, our ninety-pound Labrador retriever “Max” bolted from the room.
Gone was the leg of lamb that had been sitting too close to the edge of the counter. Max had consumed it, leaving only an empty pan. He tried to hide under a bed. [see photo] But only his head and shoulders fit. His uncovered rump and tail betrayed his whereabouts when I went to track him down.

Yes, my fellow Christians, like “Max,” the Lab, we cannot hide from our sins. Because as God reminded His chosen ones (see highlight passage), God’s calling to righteousness is on the family of God; and there’s no where we can go to hide our sin from an omnipotent and omniscient God.

But as Phillips, Craig, and Dean sing in the linked song, and we read in the reference passages above (such as Phil. 1:6 and 1John 1:7-9), if we’re willing to do all we can to confess and repent of our sins, God is willing - and very capable - to forgive us of our sins and cleanse ALL our unrighteousness. But there’s no where, my friend, we can go to hide our sins from God.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for shedding Your blood, to allow me to be cleansed of my sin.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray, Lord, that all reading here are will join me to recognize that our God sees our every sin; … so, we must confess today, repent, and be cleansed. Amen
