My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, James Banks … AT THIS LINK … tells of a tender interaction between the ODB Author and his grandson, where the boy noted the grandfather’s bald head and showed the boy’s endearing love for his granddad by being willing to give up his own hair, … saying, “I’ll have to give you some of mine.”
And the tender, sacrificial, love of this grandson for his grandfather nicely illustrates the eternal, covenant, love of God for those who cherish our God’s eternal and everlasting love for us. If my readers have taken in and meditated on the Scriptures above and the linked song, as we head toward our celebration of God’s ultimate love on Easter, … I pray we’re all feeling the presence of God’s everlasting love and His willingness to give His all for us.
