My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Tim Gustafson … AT THIS LINK  tells of Ellie Wiesel’s book, Night, where Wiesel writes of the darkness of the holocaust, especially in the light of comparing that dark time in history with the light and deliverance experienced by God’s people when God sent Moses to deliver the Jews from the holocaust and darkness of slavery in Egypt.

And then the ODB author wrote of another time of horrible darkness as Jesus was betrayed and marched to the cross to be crucified, … a time which became the darkest time in human history; and yet it was an event which also became the brightest moment in our human history as well, … when the Light of Christ’s love and grace defeated the darkness of sin and death.

Oh how I pray that all who read my words right now are following the Light of Christ, as you meditate on the Scriptures above and walk out of and away from the darkness of our sin nature, … experiencing the cleansing from our sin that we receive when we’re willing to confess and repent of our sin and live in the Light of our Lord’s resurrection power.

So, let us celebrate living in the Light given to us to us by King Jesus’ blood as we celebrate  Good Friday and Easter glory at this time in our lives.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving us Your light to follow.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to seek and follow Your Light, Lord, so that we can come out of our own darkness, having been cleansed by Your blood.       Amen
