Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...  Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from Chris Tomlin singing … All To Us … poignantly singing of how we are never abandoned in our relationship with Christ.

A Royal Marine honored by his comrades in arms ...

Highlight Passage : … 1Corinthians 12:26 [ESV] ...   26 If one member [of Christ’s body] suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.
… Paul on how the body of Christ works in unity of purpose, … suffering TOGETHER in all things.
=============
Highlight Passage [Context] : … 1Corinthians 12:14-26 [ESV] ... USE THIS LINK
… Paul explains the unity of purpose of the body or Christ.
=============

Reference Passage : … Romans 12:1-2 [ESV] … USE THIS LINK
… We are called - as Christ’s body - to be living sacrifices, avoiding the ways of the world to suffer TOGETHER for God’s glory.

Reference Passage : … Romans 8:16-17 [ESV] … 16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
 … As children of God, Christians suffer in Christ’s name TOGETHER for His glory.

Reference Passage : … Hebrews 11:24-25 [ESV] … 24 By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, 25 choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin.
… Moses chose to suffer for God’s Name and Glory rather than be identified with Pharaoh’s court.

Reference Passage : … 1Peter 2:20 [ESV] … 20 For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God.
… God, thru Peter, calls all Christian to endure suffering TOGETHER for His glory.

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Winn Collier, AT THIS LINK tells of a Royal Marine using social media to call fellow Marines to honor the passing of an obscure and unknown Marine by attending his funeral … which hundreds did [see photo] to honor their fellow soldier.

And the ODB story illustrates how the body of Christ should come TOGETHER to honor our Lord by suffering TOGETHER in His Name and for His glory. The question is ARE WE and WILL WE! What can we do TODAY, … for our Lord, … to show we can - AND WILL - suffer … TOGETHER … to honor any/all who serve our Lord?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for suffering for Your Body that we might be able to suffer TOGETHER for You today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray, Lord, that all reading here will join me, to do all we can … as Your body … to serve You today. … Amen
