My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Dave Branon, AT THIS LINK  tells of a speaker in a Christian school graduation telling the graduates that whom they were following now would like determine where they would end up in life.

Good advice; wouldn’t you agree?! … But above all, the speaker was exhorting these young people to be surrendered followers of Christ. And that’s the message which rings loud-and-clear from the linked song and the truth of God’s word above. In fact (and it is FACT!), from Solomon, the Apostle Paul, and no less than Jesus Himself above, exhorting and commanding their readers to choose to follow our Savior over self.

So, as you read what I’ve shared here today and the truths from God’s word in today’s ODB entry, I pray that we’re all doing all we can to be what the Apostle Paul wrote to fellow Christians in 1Cor 11:1, leading others in life by being surrendered followers of King Jesus.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for showing me the way in life by following You.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray, Lord, that all reading here will join me today, to follow Jesus in ALL we think, say, and do. … Amen
